ములుగు జిల్లా కర్రెగుట్ట అడవుల్లో మావోయిస్టుల కోసం కూంబింగ్ కొనసాగుతోంది. తెలంగాణ, ఛత్తీస్గఢ్ సరిహద్దు అడవుల్లో ఐదో రోజు భద్రతా బలగాలు జల్లెడ పడుతున్నాయి. నిన్న ఎదురుకాల్పుల్లో ముగ్గురు మహిళా మావోయిస్టులు మృతి చెందారు. గుంజపర్తి, నంబి ప్రాంతాల్లో వ్యాపించిన కర్రెగుట్టల్లో సెర్చ్ ఆపరేషన్ చేపట్టారు. పూజారి కాంకేర్, భీమవరంపాడు, కస్తూరిపాడు ప్రాంతాల్లో గాలింపు చర్యలు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. కర్రెగుట్ట అడవుల సమీప గ్రామాల్లో హై అలర్ట్ ప్రకటించిన అధికారులు, నాలుగు వైమానిక దళ హెలికాప్టర్లతో అటవీ ప్రాంతాన్ని జల్లెడ పడుతున్నారు. రోజంతా కాల్పులు, బాంబు పేలుళ్ల శబ్దాలే వినిపిస్తున్నాయని స్థానికులు చెబుతున్నారు.
The combing operation for Maoists continues in the Karregutta forests of Mulugu district. Security forces are conducting extensive searches in the forests along the Telangana-Chhattisgarh border for the fifth consecutive day. Yesterday, three female Maoists were killed in an exchange of fire. Search operations have been launched in the Karregutta hills, spanning the areas of Gunjaparthi and Nambi. Combing activities are ongoing in the regions of Pujari Kanker, Bhimavarampadu, and Kasturipadu. Authorities have declared a high alert in villages near the Karregutta forests and are using four Air Force helicopters to scan the forest area. Locals report that the sounds of gunfire and bomb blasts have been heard throughout the day.
