Telangana Man Murdered by Bride’s Lover in Shocking Crime in Gadwal
Gadwal, Telangana — In a shocking incident that has left two Telugu states stunned, a newly married man from Gadwal, G. Tejeshwar, was brutally murdered, allegedly by his wife’s lover, in a premeditated crime involving multiple conspirators.
Background
Tejeshwar, a 32-year-old land surveyor and part-time dance instructor from Rajaveedhi in Gadwal, was married to Ishwarya (also known as Sahasra), a woman from Kallur, Kurnool. Their marriage took place on May 18, 2025, following initial postponements earlier in the year due to her sudden disappearance days before the first scheduled wedding date. At the time, she had reportedly claimed family pressure related to dowry issues.
Following the marriage, Tejeshwar began noticing suspicious behavior from his wife, including frequent phone calls and a lack of engagement in their new life together. According to family sources, he grew increasingly concerned that she might be in contact with another man.
The Disappearance and Discovery
On June 17, Tejeshwar went missing after reportedly leaving for a work-related land survey. CCTV footage later showed him entering a vehicle in Gadwal. When he failed to return, his family filed a missing person’s complaint that evening.
Four days later, on June 21, his partially decomposed body was discovered in a canal near Panyam, in the neighboring Nandyal district of Andhra Pradesh. The body showed signs of strangulation and throat injuries, leading authorities to suspect foul play.
Investigation and Arrests
Based on mobile phone records, vehicle tracking, and CCTV footage, police uncovered a deeply disturbing murder plot allegedly orchestrated by Ishwarya and her lover, identified as a bank employee from Kurnool.
Investigators believe the couple conspired to kill Tejeshwar due to his opposition to Ishwarya’s ongoing affair and potential financial motives. Ishwarya allegedly shared his live location with her lover on the day of the murder.
According to the police, three hired killers from Kurnool — Nagesh, Parashuram, and Raju — lured Tejeshwar under the pretense of a land survey. Inside the car, they strangled him with a towel and slit his throat, later dumping his body into the HNSS canal. The accused were reportedly paid ₹2 lakh for the murder, which they split among themselves.
Police have arrested Ishwarya, her mother Sujatha, and the three hired killers. The alleged mastermind — Ishwarya’s lover — is currently absconding, and a search operation is underway to apprehend him.
Public Reaction and Legal Action
The murder has sparked widespread outrage in Gadwal and Kurnool. Tejeshwar’s family, who had previously warned him about Ishwarya’s suspicious behavior, are demanding swift and strict punishment for all those involved.
Officials confirmed that a murder case has been registered, and forensic teams are analyzing the crime scene and digital evidence, including phone call logs, messages, and financial transactions.
Ongoing Investigation
Gadwal police have stated that the case is being investigated from all angles, including possible involvement of additional individuals. Authorities are working closely with Andhra Pradesh counterparts to locate and arrest the remaining accused.
This heinous act has raised questions about the increasing number of relationship-driven crimes and the need for stronger awareness, background checks, and support systems for young couples.
