Hyderabad: A senior IAS officer, Smita Sabharwal, who received a
notice from Cyberabad police for resharing an AI-generated post on Kancha
Gachibowli land row on X, posted another tweet explaining the work she did in
four months in the Tourism department.
In her post on Tuesday, she said, “Karmanye
vadhikaraste, ma phaleshu kadachana. Spent 4 months in Tourism. Did my best!
Brought in the long pending Tourism Policy 25-30, a first for the State. Will
create a solid frame for direction and investment in neglected tourist
circuits.”
“Revamped the working style of the department
and tried to infuse accountability. Laid the foundation for the logistics and
planning for a global event, which I am sure will open doors to many more!
Pleasure and honor @TravelTelangana.”
A few days ago, the State government
transferred Smita Sabharwal from her role as secretary of Telangana’s youth
advancement, tourism and culture department and posted her as Member Secretary
of the Telangana Finance Commission.
