
Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Police have arrested Kishore Singh, along with two women, in connection with the murder of his wife, Alvina Kishore Khangar Singh, in Ulwe on May 18. Authorities are now searching for two contract killers who were allegedly hired for the crime.
Investigation Details
- Kishore Singh allegedly plotted the murder due to marital disputes with his wife.
- He paid Rs 6 lakh to two contract killers to execute the crime.
- Alisha Dhanprakash Tyagi (Ghaziabad, UP) and Charanjit Fatesingh Kaur alias Dimple (Amritsar, Punjab) were involved in arranging the hit.
- Alvina was attacked near her home, with her throat slit by a masked assailant, just 50 meters from her residence.
- Kishore and the two women were remanded in police custody until May 27.
Search for Contract Killers
- The Ulwe police and crime branch are actively searching for Sukhpreet Rathia and Gurpreet Rathia, the hired assassins from Punjab.
- Technical evidence helped police trace Kishore’s involvement, as he was playing badminton near his pharmacy to create an alibi during the murder.
Another Murder Case in Mumbai
- In a separate incident, Anil alias Bobby Jangam was arrested in Mumbai for allegedly killing his wife, Reena Verma, in Ahmedabad.
- Ahmedabad police tracked his mobile phone, leading to his arrest in Ghatkopar.
Authorities continue their investigation into both cases.
