Precautions and Advisory
The state disaster management authority has advised the public to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy rain hours, watch out for water-logged streets, and stay away from electric poles and open fields during thunderstorms. Commuters and daily wage workers are urged to take extra caution, especially during evening hours when the intensity of showers may be higher.
Municipal authorities in Hyderabad have put emergency response teams on standby to tackle waterlogging and traffic disruptions. GHMC has also urged citizens to report fallen trees or electrical hazards through their official helpline.
With early monsoon indicators becoming active, this rainfall is expected to benefit agricultural planning in the state but also calls for necessary preparedness.
