Hyderabad: US House Speaker Mike Johnson has assured full cooperation to India in its fight against terrorism. Speaking at a Congress meeting held at Capitol Hill on Monday, as per local time, Johnson expressed sympathy for the developments occurring in India. He stated that the US desires to support its allies and considers India a highly significant partner in many ways. He expressed optimism that trade discussions between India and the US would yield positive results. Johnson also mentioned that no one had questioned him regarding tariffs. He emphasized that India must combat terrorism and reiterated that the US would provide all forms of support to India in its battle against terrorism. It may be recalled that 26 people lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on April 22.
