
Hyderabad: Telangana BJP chief and Union minister G. Kishan Reddy, appeared before the Nampally court on Monday to testify as a witness in a case related to the threatening phone calls he received in 2019. He had earlier lodged a complaint regarding the calls with the Hyderabad cybercrime police in May 2019.
Following an investigation, the police arrested Shaik Ismail of Kadapa district, who was working as a cab driver in Kuwait since 2017. He allegedly searched for Reddy’s contact information online and made the threatening calls using an international SIM card.
