Hyderabad: Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy here on Monday said
that the MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi was the super boss for the BRS and Congress
for supporting it in Hyderabad local authorities MLC elections scheduled on
April 23.
Both the BRS and Congress should answer the
people of Telangana why they are supporting MIM which threatened to see the end
of hundred crore people in the country if 15 minutes were given to it. The same
MIM leaders earlier humiliated the gods of Hindus. The BRS and Congress leaders
bowed down to Owaisi to ensure MIM’s victory in MLC elections.
“Asaduddin Owaisi is the super boss for both
BRS and Congress. If Rahul Gandhi is the boss of Congress, Asaduddin Owaisi is
the super boss in Telangana. If former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is
the boss of BRS, then Asaduddin Owaisi is the super boss. Despite having the
highest number of votes, on what basis the BRS is not contesting in the
election?” Kishan Reddy asked, addressing a press conference here.
“Who are BRS leaders trying to support? Why
are they calling the corporators of BRS and threatening them not to vote? Does
that mean you don’t trust your corporators? Why is the BRS not openly
announcing that Majlis will win?” Kishan Reddy questioned.
In spite of knowing that the BRS and Congress
would be confined to only four or five seats in Lok Sabha elections in 2024,
the two parties contested. “Why are they not contesting in Hyderabad local body
MLC elections?” he said.
The Union Minister further stated when the BRS
was in power, MIM leaders used to visit Pragati Bhavan by travelling on bullet
bikes and now the Congress is in power, they are going to the houses of
Congress leaders on the same bikes.
How can BRS and Congress parties working with
MIM, which is a religious party, are secular parties? Congress MP Rahul Gandhi,
who always claims that his party is secular, should respond.
Stating that BRS and Congress were acting as
pawns in the hands of MIM, Kishan Reddy cautioned the people to be careful as
Telangana faced several atrocities and exploitation under Nizam’s rule and the
tyranny of Razakars.
“We urge the people to understand and expose
the real nature of BRS, Congress and MIM. It was shameful that BRS was
supporting a party that opposed the Telangana movement. We are fighting with
confidence that the BJP candidate N Goutham Rao will win the MLC elections,” he
added.
