Mumbai: A 22-year-old man, Suraj Jaiswal, has been arrested for the brutal murder of a second-hand car dealer, Zeeshan, during a road rage altercation in Ghatkopar.
Incident Details
- The crime occurred on May 24, 2025, near Vikhroli Traffic Chowky.
- Zeeshan, a resident of Parksite, Vikhroli, was traveling with friends toward CSMT via Kurla when an argument broke out with Jaiswal, who was on a two-wheeler.
- Eyewitnesses reported that the verbal spat escalated, leading Jaiswal to pull out a large knife and stab Zeeshan multiple times.
- Zeeshan collapsed on the spot and succumbed to his injuries before help could arrive.
- Jaiswal and a woman riding pillion fled the scene immediately after the attack.
Police Investigation & Arrest
- Pant Nagar Police registered a murder case and conducted a panchnama at the crime scene.
- Zeeshan’s body was sent for post-mortem, and investigators scanned CCTV footage to identify the accused.
- Mumbai Police tracked Jaiswal to a hideout in Hariyali Village, Vikhroli, where he was arrested on May 26.
