Mumbai Road Rage Incident – 22-Year-Old Arrested for Fatal Stabbing

Mumbai: A 22-year-old man, Suraj Jaiswal, has been arrested for the brutal murder of a second-hand car dealer, Zeeshan, during a road rage altercation in Ghatkopar.

Incident Details

The crime occurred on May 24, 2025, near Vikhroli Traffic Chowky.
Zeeshan, a resident of Parksite, Vikhroli, was traveling with friends toward CSMT via Kurla when an argument broke out with Jaiswal, who was on a two-wheeler.
Eyewitnesses reported that the verbal spat escalated, leading Jaiswal to pull out a large knife and stab Zeeshan multiple times.
Zeeshan collapsed on the spot and succumbed to his injuries before help could arrive.
Jaiswal and a woman riding pillion fled the scene immediately after the attack.

Police Investigation & Arrest

Pant Nagar Police registered a murder case and conducted a panchnama at the crime scene.
Zeeshan’s body was sent for post-mortem, and investigators scanned CCTV footage to identify the accused.
Mumbai Police tracked Jaiswal to a hideout in Hariyali Village, Vikhroli, where he was arrested on May 26.
He is currently in police custody, with further investigations underway.

Authorities are examining Jaiswal’s background and possible prior offenses.
