
Hyderabad: Two of India’s most celebrated classical musicians, sarod maestro Pandit Debojyoti Bose and tabla virtuoso Ustad Akram Khan, are set to perform in Hyderabad on May 24 as part of the Classical Concert Series 2025 (Season 5). The event is dedicated to supporting the Autism Ashram, an initiative aimed at raising awareness and providing assistance to individuals with autism.

About the Artists
- Pandit Debojyoti Bose, a distinguished musician from the Senia Bangash Gharana, is a disciple of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and comes from a renowned musical family in Kolkata.
- Ustad Akram Khan, a seventh-generation artist of the Ajrada Gharana, is widely respected for his mastery over rhythm and improvisation, with performances across India and abroad.
Concert Curation and Legacy
The concert has been curated by Grammy Jury member and GIMA Award winner Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee, alongside social entrepreneur Abhijeeth Bhattacharjee. The previous edition, featuring Pandit Bhuvanesh Komkali, received widespread appreciation from both live and online audiences.
