After studying similar schemes in other states, the announcement of free bus travel for women has sparked widespread excitement among women in Andhra Pradesh. However, they are urging the government to implement the scheme statewide, similar to Telangana and Karnataka. While Minister Gummadi Sandhyarani announced in the Legislative Council that the free bus scheme would be limited to districts, women are now requesting its implementation across the entire state.
